The Taurus® TH series of hammer-fired pistols. Well-equipped, ultra-dependable and chambered in 40 S&W, the TH series is a modern reinvention of the classic hammer-fired SA/DA semi-auto platform. Available in both full-size and compact models, the TH series is built on a polymer frame that boasts finger grooves along the grip, generous stippling panels for a custom fit.

DESCRIPTION

With its 8+1 capacity and 4.2" barrel, the Taurus 1911™ 45 ACP Commander has a shorter profile than traditional full-size 1911s but maintains a full-size grip providing a positive grip purchase. Perfect for carry, self-defense or home use, the Commander features a monochromatic black on black finish, Novak® drift adjustable front and rear sights, and extended beavertail that offers comfortable shooting with great control. Featuring Magpul heavy-duty reinforced polymer, MOE 1911 Grip Panels have a unique diamond-shaped cross section to prevent twisting in the hand, aggressive magazine release cut-out, positive anti-slip texture, and are compatible with ambidextrous safeties.
